… some winter days when I would head up to the Colorado Plateau, everything would have a strange appearance and an ethereal quality to the earthscape below me … almost anything was possible and all I needed was a palette of colors, brushes and filters to complete the fantasia that I saw in my minds eye. These two photos are examples of what is possible from the same lighting conditions when you free yourself from convention and alter the world to accommodate your imagination. In the top photo you have a view from roughly near the top of the switchbacks of SR 89A at the top of Oak Creek Canyon and you can see the road coming up into the photo from the bottom. The second is a black and white image which is just to the left of the position I took the first photo … meadows now shallow lakes and dry washes … streams and all forming a natural abstract work of art.
I answered a lot of emails this weekend, but I fear that all who had gmail addresses are gone; I learned that gmail blocked all of them and that was after I deleted everything in the various folders. Network Solutions hosts my email servers and had me add a new DNS record (IP address) for the accounts, but that takes about 24 hours to take full effect. Sorry if you did not get my reply … they are all gone.
Tickets for my upcoming shows at the Mary Fisher Theater are now available. Friday, March 25th at 7PM and Saturday, March 26th at 4PM. A good idea to buy early as my show last September was sold out and many people were turned away at the door. Most of the photos will be all new ones that I have not worked up before.
A new day and week is underway … make them the best ever and live each moment … the one you are in is the only one you have. Smile and share the joy in your life … someone needs you to do it.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
