Mesa Grill Sedona

Mesa Grill sits beside the Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout on top of Airport Mesa, which gives it two things no other restaurant in town has: a runway view, with small planes landing just beyond the patio tables, and a sunset over the whole of West Sedona. The building was designed to look like an airplane wing. It belongs to Chef Mercer Mohr’s Mercer’s Kitchen group, along with Creekside, Rascal and Rene, and it serves breakfast through dinner every day.

What to Order

• Breakfast, brunch and lunch (7:30 to 3): chilaquiles $19, huevos rancheros $21, classic eggs Benedict $24, fresh salmon Benedict $33, steak and eggs $38, a stack of three pancakes $17, breakfast tacos $17, tableside guacamole $25, Sonoran street tacos $19, Carolina pulled pork $22, fish and chips $23, and the Aviation Classic “$100 hamburger,” a sourdough smash burger, at $23.
• Dinner (3 to 9): classic ribeye $64 or petite filet $42, steak and lobster $88, St. Louis pork ribs $19 half or $35 full, crispy-skin red trout $28, blackened tuna or salmon $32, High Country shrimp and grits $32, chicken schnitzel $29, killer crab cakes $32.
• Happy hour (3:30 to 5:30 daily, holidays excluded): $2 off any margarita or cocktail, $5 tacos, and Gaspar’s famous chicken quesadilla at $14. The prickly pear margarita is $16.

Prices are from the spring 2026 menus on the restaurant’s website. Cards carry a 3 percent surcharge, and the kitchen states that it is not a gluten-free restaurant.

• Reservations by phone or OpenTable, recommended for dinner and happy hour; walk-ins when there is room.
• The patio is semi-enclosed and heated, so the view works year-round, and it is pet friendly with a dog menu.
• Parking at the airport terminal lot is free by day; the overlook next door charges $3 if you drive up for the sunset first.
