Sedona Offroad Adventures runs the only Hummer tours in Sedona, open-air H1 and H2 trucks on the back roads that Jeeps share and some they do not. A tour is about two hours, from $94.95 per person, with regular departures and private tours available, guides who know the geology and the stories, and free bottled water. Children from age 3 can ride. If you searched for “Sedona off road adventures” looking to rent an ATV, this is not that; see our guide to ATV and UTV rentals in Sedona.
The Trails
The company’s named routes include the Cliff Hanger, the Gambler, the Western Trails, the Colorado Plateau Ascent, Cathedral Rock, Crack Axle, Jeep Eater and Merry Go Round Rock on Schnebly Hill. The rougher the name, the more the Hummer earns its keep; ask which routes are running, since the Forest Service gates the upper Schnebly Hill road in winter.
