Arabella Hotel Sedona

Arabella Hotel Sedona is the independent resort on eight acres along State Route 179 between Uptown and Tlaquepaque, named for Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly, the woman the town is named for, and built on the bones of the 1960s King’s Ransom Inn. It has 144 rooms in three categories, two heated pools, two hot tubs, fire pits with s’mores and live music, free cruiser bikes with a bike spa, a 3,300-square-foot fenced dog park, EV chargers, and direct access to the Marg’s Draw trail and the Sunset Vista overlook. A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is served daily, and Mole Fine Cuisine of Mexico is the restaurant on site.

Good to Know

• Rooms: Courtyard rooms with two queens for up to four, Standard kings, and the larger Trailhead rooms nearest the trail.
• Pets: $27 per night per room, up to two, in carpet-free rooms near the dog park, with part of the fee going to the Sedona Humane Society.
• Free parking and WiFi. Visit Sedona’s directory lists a $24 nightly resort fee; the hotel’s own pages do not mention one, so ask at booking.
• Rates are on the hotel’s site; specials include 15 percent off weeknights for stays of three nights or more, 15 percent off prepaid advance bookings and 10 percent for AAA. TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice 2025.
• A $25 million hydrothermal spa, the Arabella Spa, was financed in October 2025 for construction next to the hotel; no opening date has been announced.
