Are you new to computers? Do you get frustrated trying to figure out how to use email, social media, new versions of Microsoft Word, etc.? Do you need to know how to navigate online video services such as Zoom and Google Meet? Are you having trouble understanding your Android device and wondering how to download and use apps? Are you a veteran needing help using My Healthy Vet? Join us on one or all 8 Saturday classes to improve your knowledge and skills.
Classes are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 1:00 pm in the Adult Learning Center at Camp Verde Community Library from February 12 – May 28. Each class will be one hour on a specific topic, with 15 minutes set aside for open discussion.
The schedule will be as follows:
February 12th – Computers 101: The Basics
February 26th – Email for Beginners and helpful tips
March 12th – Social Media! A brief overview of Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
March 26th – Zoom, Zoom! An introduction to video meeting and communication
April 9th – My HealtheVet; for veterans and caregivers
April 23rd – Microsoft Word: The Basics
May 7th – How to build a resume! Assistance with building and helpful resources
May 21st – Smartphones: An introduction to Android devices and how to use them
