Karen’s Gluten Free Bakeshop (Sweet Treats No Wheats)

Karen’s Gluten Free Bakeshop, which sells online as Sweet Treats No Wheats, is Sedona’s dedicated gluten-free bakery: the whole kitchen is gluten free, so there is no cross-contamination to worry about, and many items are also dairy free, vegan or free of refined sugar. It is a small storefront on West 89A with cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cookies, breads, bars and baking mixes, custom cakes and cupcakes to order, and a monthly subscription for regulars. Sedona Monthly put it among the area’s six best bakeries in 2025.

• Breads: paleo sandwich bread $12, sourdough quinoa bread $17, sourdough bagels $13, chickpea buns $12, and a paleo bread mix at $16.90 to bake at home.
• Sweets: paleo brownies, zucchini bread and pumpkin bread by the four-pack at $22.99, shortbread cookies $15 for ten, ginger cookies $16, vegan quinoa cookies $17, chocolate chip or pecan D-lights at $8, and Red Rock energy bites $8.
• Cupcake jars in packs of two to six from $25.98, and squares boxed by the two, four or six from $18.
• Custom cakes by request; prices on quote.

• Open Tuesday to Saturday 9 to 5, Sunday and Monday 9 to 4.
• Call ahead if you are driving across town for something specific; it is a small shop and popular items sell out.
