Sky Rock Sedona (formerly Sky Rock Inn)

Sky Rock Inn of Sedona became Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, in April 2024 after a property-wide renovation, and it is a different hotel from the one on the old listings: 109 rooms with handmade leather headboards and in-room fireplaces, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, fire pits, an outdoor yoga deck, a terraced promenade deck with the red rocks in front of it, and a restaurant and bar called Bar WooWoo. Sunset magazine’s 2026 Travel Awards named it best for nearby nature. It is on West 89A in the middle of West Sedona.

Rooms, Food and the Fine Print

• Rooms come as one king or two queens in standard, mid-floor and high-floor categories; the higher floors buy the view.
• Bar WooWoo serves breakfast 7 to 11 (a full Sky Rock breakfast is $20, the breakfast sandwich $18, continental $14), dinner 5 to 9, and the bar runs 4 to 11, no reservations. Breakfast is not included unless you book the breakfast and parking package.
• Pet friendly, with a Mystic Pet Package; the pet fee is not published on the hotel’s site and third-party listings disagree, so confirm when booking. Same for self-parking, which several packages include and which booking sites list at around $35 a day.
• Check-in 4 p.m., check-out 11 a.m. An Arizona resident rate takes up to 15 percent off with a two-night minimum, and the Vortex Hunter package pairs the room with Earth Wisdom vortex tours at 25 percent off.
• Rates are on the hotel’s site; a directory listing shows them starting around $209.
