Timing Your Visit to Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village

No trip to Sedona is complete without exploring the vine-covered stucco walls, cobblestone walkways, and arched gateways of Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. Patterned after a traditional Mexican village, this world-class cultural enclave houses over 50 boutique shops, fine art galleries, and restaurants. To make the most of your time, plan your visit around these operational hours.

Standard Village Operating Hours

The main shops and art galleries operate on a uniform schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday through Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Holiday Closures: The village is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Navigating the Extended Evening Hours

While retail spaces close down by early evening, Tlaquepaque’s onsite restaurants offer extended evening hours. Fine dining establishments like El Rincon Mexican Kitchen and René at Tlaquepaque serve patrons well past retail closing times.

Parking Hacks

Tlaquepaque provides free public parking on site. However, the lots fill up fast between 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Arrive precisely at 10:00 AM when the gates open to secure a stall under the shade of the giant sycamore trees. Alternatively, look for spots in the adjacent Tlaquepaque North lots.
