Today’s Photo from Ted Grussing Photography: Comings and Goings

… daily all life forms are in motion in search of food, shelter and what pleasure they may derive from life … mostly our non human friends are in search of food and daily they endeavor to fulfill that necessity moving from place to place in search of!

In the photo above we have a Snowy Egret coming in for a landing in shallow water looking for small fish … I like the way he has his feet overlapping each other; it is almost as though he is a bit tentative in deciding whether or not this is the place to set down and the water reflections on the bottom of his wings create beautiful patterns.

Below we have a Great Egret taking off and departing for better hunting grounds … they are so majestic. Today whilst we work our way through the day these creatures as well as all other life on the planet will be busy doing their thing … nice to know that others have to work their way through the day to survive too.

Into the weekend for me and the plan is to be back Monday morning. Enjoy your days and be kind.

Smiles,

Ted

Will future generations understand

The turmoil of these days, the strain and stress,

The dawn’s despair, the night’s uneasiness,

The greed of itching palms throughout the land?

Will they conceive the fires fanatics fanned,

Of time the universal wastefulness,

The strange philosophies the mobs confess

That every throat cry out some new demand?
