… a lot of the photos in my portfolio have been shot around home … in the yard and around it … sitting on the deck whilst keeping an eye on my little predator who has a penchant for attacking predators much larger than herself.
May is always the month for our Spuria Innovator iris’s to bloom … a very tall plant and beautiful beyond imagination. A friend planted them for Corky, early summer in 2013 and she loved them. Since she was on hospice, we all knew that she would never see them bloom, but having seen them in our friends yard she knew what a great gift they were and annually I am reminded of those moments and the great gift … thank you again Allan and Marge 🙂
A tree just on the other side of the cart path in back is a favorite for Coopers Hawks to surveil the area as they hunt for food … I really need to get a bird feeder up in back … feed the whole food chain. Some of my best shots of Coopers have occurred in the back yard as they attempt to get song birds to exit the desert olive tree/bushes in the yard. We have trimmed them in such a manner that over the years it is impossible for the hawks to get at the birds seeking protection within them. This guy is definitely looking for a meal!

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
