… so the hope was to come home with some shots that were better than those taken before today … all in all it was pretty good and I got a few I like a lot and here are two of them. The shot above is of an egret just leaving his perch from some branches of a mostly submerged tree in the lake … the photo is exactly as shot and no cropping other than to reduce size from the original size of 8192 pixels x 5464 pixels to 1200 pixels x 800 pixels. That doesn’t happen a lot and usually you make some crops to improve the composition … plus it is a pretty nice flight shot of a beautiful bird. The donkeys below show an affection for each other that just makes you feel good about life … nothing but life occurring as it should.
Off the lake and home around noon … an hour or so nap and now time to find the bed I left more than 24 hours ago. Have a beautiful day, smile and be kind … tune out the noisy blather that is designed to divide you from others. Life is so wonderful and as these donkeys show, it is to be treasured and shared.
Keep breathing!
Ted
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
