The free Sedona Shuttle runs Thursday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., from three free park-and-ride lots to Cathedral Rock, Little Horse, Soldier Pass, Dry Creek Vista (for Devil’s Bridge) and Mescal trailheads. While it runs, the Cathedral Rock and Soldier Pass lots are closed to cars, so the shuttle is the way in. Riders don’t need a Red Rock Pass.
When does the Sedona Shuttle run?
- Thursday to Sunday, year-round: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., subject to holiday exceptions and route changes.

- Free to ride and park. Track shuttles live in the TransLoc app.
The official calendar lists no service on Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2026) or Christmas Day (December 25, 2026). Check the holiday and expanded service calendar and current route schedules before you travel.

Can I drive to Cathedral Rock or Soldier Pass?
Only when the shuttle isn’t running. Both trailhead lots close to cars during shuttle hours. Soldier Pass trailhead and parking lot are also closed every day from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Don’t use the Little Horse lot as Cathedral Rock overflow.
Soldier Pass shuttles run less often because the Forest Service caps shuttle riders at 300 per day, so go early.
How do I get to Devil’s Bridge?
Take the shuttle to Dry Creek Vista trailhead. On non-shuttle days, park there with a Red Rock Pass. Arrive before sunrise on weekends; the lot fills fast.
