Bella Vita Ristorante

Bella Vita Ristorante is the Italian dinner house at Sedona Pines Resort on the far west end of 89A, two miles past the last stoplight toward Cottonwood, which keeps it a regulars’ place: two indoor rooms, the Red Room and the Gold Room, a patio that is among the largest in Sedona, an indoor fireplace and live local musicians on weekend evenings. Executive Chef Rafael Garcia runs the kitchen, and the restaurant describes itself as the number one Sedona restaurant on TripAdvisor, a claim we could not verify ourselves.

What to Order

  • The signatures: calamari $20, bruschetta $16, polpette marinara $17, the 8-ounce filet mignon $55, the 14-ounce New York strip $45, flat iron $35, and the Friday night 14-ounce prime rib at $55.
  • Pasta: homemade lasagna Bolognese $34, rigatoni Napoli or pappardelle funghi $35, gnocchi rosso or rigatoni carbonara $32, linguini with meatballs $30.
  • Salmone $40, pecan-crusted trout $42, Totto Mare $48, pollo Parmigiana or Marsala $38; tiramisu or lava cake $11; kids’ pastas $11 to $12.

Prices from the restaurant’s online menu in October 2026. Happy hour is 4 to 6 Sunday through Thursday and 4 to 5 Friday and Saturday, with $11 to $15 plates, $7 house wine and $10 well drinks, and a $22 early bird dinner Sunday through Thursday with five pasta and chicken choices. Signature cocktails such as Dan’s Sunset Margarita are $15, and Oak Creek Nut Brown is on draft at $7.

Good to Know

  • Dinner from 4 p.m. The restaurant has closed Sunday through Tuesday in summer, so check the days before you drive out.
  • Reservations recommended, by phone or OpenTable. Catering, private parties and online ordering are offered.
  • Gluten-free options throughout the menu.
