The Wilde Resort and Spa

The Wilde Resort and Spa opened in the fall of 2021 in the bones of the old Sedona Rouge Hotel on West 89A, rebuilt as a contemporary desert resort: red rock views of Thunder Mountain from the Rangeview rooftop patio, fire pits in the Grove gardens under the dark sky, outdoor pools and hot tubs, a labyrinth, and a full-service spa. Chef Mercer Mohr’s Rascal Modern American Diner is the restaurant, open from 7 in the morning to 10 at night, and the lounge has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Wilde Haven Spa

Nine treatment rooms, a meditative lounge, adults-only outdoor hot tubs, a eucalyptus steam room and garden seating, with the resort pool and fitness center included for spa guests. It takes day visitors, subject to availability, and it publishes its prices: 60-minute massages from $220 for the Quiet Haven Swedish to $230 for the aromatic Desert Sanctuary, $250 for deep tissue or hot stone and $275 for the Sacred Earth myofascial treatment, plus a custom Trailblazer facial. Open daily 9 to 6; book ahead. The resort’s Spa Getaway package adds a $100 spa credit to the room.
