The local kickoff event at the Sedona Performing Arts Center for this year’s Sedona International Film Festival (SIFF), “An Afternoon with Bruce Babbitt,” attracted a large, enthusiastic audience. As part of a new sustainability initiative, the city of Sedona encourages residents to apply for up to $5,000 in funding to make their homes more energy efficient and weatherized. Known as the Home Energy Retrofit Project and in partnership with CozyHome LLC, the project is intended to benefit moderate and low-income residents within Sedona city limits.
