Most Sedona restaurants with a patio will seat a well-behaved dog, but “most” is not a list you can plan a dinner around. This is the list: the restaurants that say so themselves, in their own policies, their Chamber listings or a dog menu you can order from, with hours and phone numbers so you can confirm before you drive over. Two of them, Creekside and Mesa Grill, keep a menu for the dog. Everything below was checked in October 2026; where a policy comes from a third party rather than the restaurant, we say so.

Sedona’s Best Quick Answer
For a dog menu with a view, book a deck table at Creekside American Bistro above Oak Creek or the heated patio at Mesa Grill beside the airport runway. Javelina Cantina has a four-item “Fur Friends” menu on its red rock terrace. For a nice dinner, Rene at Tlaquepaque takes dogs in the courtyard when weather and space allow; call first. Dogs ride along on patios, never inside, and the restaurant always has the last word, so phone ahead on busy weekends.

Patio Rules Worth Knowing
- Patios only. Arizona health rules keep dogs out of dining rooms; every restaurant above seats dogs outside, and the host can decline on a full night.
- Call on weekends. Rene and Javelina in particular fill their patios in spring and fall; a reservation that mentions the dog saves a wasted trip.
- Shade and water. Red rock patios bake from May through September. Mesa Grill’s patio is enclosed and the Creekside decks are covered; ask for shade elsewhere and bring a bowl.
- Where to stay with the dog. Arabella Hotel on 179 has a fenced dog park and takes pets for $27 a night, Sky Ranch Lodge on Airport Mesa for $25, and Mountain Modern in West Sedona has a dog park. Our resorts and hotels guide notes the pet fees we could confirm.
